An Amazing space in the heart of Epping Forest
Unlike most halls ours isn't run by the council, but by our fantastic local volunteers and what a group they are! Some are up there everyday, while the Committee meets once a month to plan ideas for events, make sure the hall is run effectively and generally give it the love a building like this deserves!
A small group of people met for the first time on 29th September 1927, with a view to building a village hall. Two years later
the hall was formally open on 30th November 1929 by Lady Buxton at the cost of £1275! The hall has been loyally serving the community ever since.
We focus on making the maximum positive effort for our community we can. Our volunteers provide the momentum that helps us affect change and provide a cost effective and welcome space for people to use.
